This is the story about how I gained, lost, gained back and lost 100 pounds. So I haven't lost 100 pounds yet, but I'm getting close - working on the last 25. Why is it we tend to think the first thing we do is the hardest? I thought having my first child was hard until I had my second. I thought losing the first 25 pounds was tough until I tried to lose the last 25. I have been working on this last 25 longer than the first 75! That's where this site comes in - maybe if I put my weight loss efforts out there for all the world (or at least a few friends and my mom) to see, then I will feel pressured - I mean motivated - to finally get it done! Wish me luck.

Click here to read about the never-ending war I wage with my jeans. I wear jeans almost everyday, so almost everyday I have to ask myself, "how do my jeans feel today?" Most of the time the answer is tight, but then I quickly remind myself that they just came out of the dryer, so of course they feel tight - nothing to worry about. At first it was just a little question to help me gauge how I was doing with my weight-loss effort, but after I while I started to feel like my jeans were just being moody. So now it's not asking myself "how do my jeans feel today?" It's asking my jeans, "How are YOU feeling today?" Then I just hold my breath while I zip them up and hope they're in a good mood. It's definitely a love/hate relationship, but with some counseling, I'm sure we'll get through it.
